Dear Colleagues,
It is our great pleasure to welcome you to the IX Baltic Heart Failure and XIV Arrhythmias Meeting. As always, this meeting brings together not only cardiologists but also a wide range of healthcare professionals from across the Baltic region and beyond to explore the evolving landscape of heart failure and its close intersection with cardiac arrhythmias.
Heart failure remains one of the leading challenges in cardiovascular medicine, placing an increasing burden on patients and healthcare systems alike. At the same time, arrhythmias—ranging from atrial fibrillation to complex ventricular disorders—continue to have a significant impact on prognosis, management strategies, and patient outcomes. Addressing these interconnected conditions requires not only continuous scientific progress but also strong collaboration across disciplines and borders.
During our two-day meeting, the programme will highlight the most recent developments in both heart failure and arrhythmias, while also providing an outlook on future directions. Particular attention will be given to real-world implementation, emphasizing the persistent gap between evidence and everyday clinical practice.
Beyond scientific exchange, this meeting aims to foster meaningful discussion, encourage new partnerships, and strengthen the regional network. Enhancing communication and collaboration between Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania represents a valuable opportunity to improve mutual understanding, share expertise, and ultimately enhance patient care across the region.
We look forward to welcoming you to an engaging and inspiring meeting.
